Every curiosity begins long before it takes shape.

Welcome.

I’m Sara, the artist behind Black Wolf Curiosities.

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty that often goes unnoticed—the shimmer hidden inside a gemstone, the delicate architecture of a spider’s web, the soft glow of mushrooms beneath the trees, and the stories whispered by old things that have stood the test of time.

Creating has always been my way of slowing down and seeing the world a little differently.

What began with wire-wrapped gemstones has grown into a collection of handcrafted curiosities: whimsical spiders and scorpions, delicate jewelry, suncatchers, and one-of-a-kind treasures inspired by nature, folklore, and forgotten magic.

Every piece is made by hand in my Missouri workshop. There are no factories, no assembly lines, and no shortcuts—just time, patience, and a genuine love for creating something meaningful.

I don’t strive for perfection.

I strive for wonder.

I hope that when you hold one of my creations, you feel the same spark of curiosity and joy that I felt while making it.

Thank you for wandering into my little corner of the woods.

I’m truly glad you’re here.

I believe there’s a little magic in ordinary things—if we’re willing to slow down and notice it. The world can be loud, but I’ve always found comfort in quiet places, gentle hearts, and the beauty hidden in things others often overlook. If my work inspires someone to smile, to speak a little softer, to be a little kinder, or simply to pause and appreciate the small wonders around them, then I’ve created exactly what I hoped to.

A Few Curiosities About Me

🌿 I find endless inspiration in nature. Whether it’s a mossy forest, a blooming garden, a quiet afternoon by the pool, or the way sunlight catches a spider’s web after the rain, the natural world always finds its way into my work.

🕷️ I’ve always had a soft spot for the misunderstood. Spiders, scorpions, snakes, and the little creatures that many people overlook have a beauty all their own—and I love giving them a chance to be admired.

💎 I’m a bit of a gemstone collector at heart. I could spend hours turning a stone in the light, looking for the flash, the sparkle, or the tiny details that make each one completely unique.

📚 I love things that tell a story. Old books, folklore, antique treasures, forgotten places, and anything with a little mystery inspire the worlds I try to create through my work.

My happiest days are simple ones. A cozy playlist, a project on my workbench, Dave & the animals nearby, and the quiet satisfaction of making something beautiful one bead at a time.

🖤 I believe the most meaningful things are made slowly. Every curiosity is handcrafted with patience, intention, and the hope that it becomes a treasured part of someone else’s story.

From My Workbench
Black Wolf Curiosities is, at its heart, a one-person workshop. While I occasionally use AI to help create decorative graphics, banners, and informational artwork for my website, every curiosity you can hold in your hands is thoughtfully designed, handcrafted, and finished by me. Every wire wrap, every brushstroke, every tiny detail is made with patience, care, and the hope that it becomes part of your story. 🖤🐝🐞
